Wreaths Across America 2011: Participate to honor our fallen hereos!
To all of our Operation Welcome Home (Maryland) volunteers and supporters!
Once again OWHMD is working with the Wreaths Across America (WAA) program to honor our fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetary and to raise funds to suport our welcoming home events at the BWI airport.
2011 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Worchester Wreath Company donating Maine wreaths to adorn the headstones at Arlington National Cemetary. In honor of this milestone, WAA has been given permission to cover every grave there–that’s more than 300,000 graves!
With your help, we can achieve this goal! Please plan to join OWHMD on Saturday December 10th when we will help to lay these wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery.
We also ask that you help us by sponsoring/purchasing wreaths to lay–there are several ways to do this:
- Individual – One wreath is $15.00
- Family – Four wreaths is $60.00
- Small Business – Ten wreaths is $150.00
- Corporate Sponsorship – 100 wreaths is $1,500.00
To donate/sponsor wreaths:
- Click here –> SPONSOR WREATHS, or visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org, click on “Act Now” and then click on “Sponsor Wreaths.”
- On the Store site, pick the package you wish to sponsor: INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, SMALL BUSINESS, or CORPORATE.
- For Location, select VA for Virginia for the State, and ARLINGTON – ARLING for Arlington National Cemetery.
- For the Group, select MD for the state and MDOWHM01 for the group designator.
The website will then ask you for credit card/debit card information for payment.
